Geometry is the standard US course on shapes, proof and measurement, usually taken in Grade 9 or 10. It covers congruence and similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, circles, coordinate geometry, area and volume.
Algebra 1 is the usual prerequisite: solving equations, graphing lines and working with radicals.
